Latest : Liverpool Star Urged To Force Move Away From Anfield By Barcelona

The Transfer Saga So Far-

The Catalonian club is refusing to back down from signing Liverpool play-maker Philippe Coutinho despite Jurgen Klopp warning that he is not for sale. After rejecting a £72m bid for the Reds man, Barca had added Arda Turan to the deal in exchange for the Brazilian genius.
Turan hasn’t been able to establish himself into the starting line-up for the Barcelona first-team often finding himself restricted to the bench and the club want to use the Turkish midfielder to smoothen the deal.
The fact still remains that Turan is not willing to play at Anfield as he will look to fight for his spot in Barcelona despite his future being uncertain.
Coutinho has caught the eye of many top clubs across Europe and Barcelona are looking to replace their maestro Andres Iniesta, who is not capable of playing the full ninety minutes due to his age factor.
The Reds have already recruited Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andrew Robertson this season as they look to have a crack at the title but selling Coutinho may not be ideal if they are looking to aim big.
Jurgen Klopp has told the media that Coutinho is happy with the Merseyside club but the temptation certainly exists when the Spanish giants come for a player.
Coutinho has been one of the stellar players in the Liverpool squad and had a great impact on the club helping them achieve a Champions League qualification.
In a recent press conference the German boss said, Yes [Coutinho is not for sale] but that’s not since this morning or yesterday, it’s not been any different. Phil is a very important player for us. He’s trying to get back his rhythm but there’s no doubt about his quality.”
“I am not surprised that any club is interested in players at Liverpool. The very important message is that we are not a selling club and that is how it is. We believe in working together and developing together. We want to make the next step together and for this we need to stay together.
We have to create a situation where everybody is easily able to see which direction we want to go. It is really positive. This is a fantastic club and it’s a good moment for Liverpool.”
However, the La Liga giants are still trying to get the deal done, which has not worked out so far and eventually a £90m was also rejected recently by the Reds.
Also, it has been added that the Catalan club are urging the player to force a move away from England and join them, in the current transfer window itself.
Do The Reds Really Need Coutinho?
Though the answer to this question should be probably a big “YES”, with the kind of vibes that the player has been giving at Anfield in recent times, I would suggest that it is best for the Merseyside outfit to let him go. He is clearly not interested in playing for Liverpool anymore and even if he does decide to stay, his heart and mind will be elsewhere.
It could once again be a similar case to that of Luis Suarez and it will only be in the best interest of the club to let him go and get maximum money from Barca for his services.
