Match Report: Hull City 1-4 Arsenal, As Gunners March To Victory Over 10 Man Hull

Arsenal faced off against Hull City in the Premier League at the KP Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers went down to 10 men in the first half and made it an impossible task for the home side to bounce back into the game against Arsene Wenger’s men despite Robert Snodgrass’ scoring a late penalty. The Gunners won their third Premier League match of the season, as they beat Hull 4-1.

Alexis Sanchez was very impressive despite missing a penalty but made up for it by scoring two, along with goals from Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka making the difference for the Gunners, who bounced back from their midweek draw against Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The Chilean international opened the scoring after just 17 minutes and he had a good chance to doubled his tally but it was denied by Jakupovic as he didn’t add much power to it.

Jake Livermore was sent off in the first half which made it a impossible task for the tigers to salvage anything from the game, and Theo Walcott made things more comfortable for the Gunners when he added a second goal in the second half.

Things got a bit serious for Arsenal at the end of the game with Robert Snodgrass making no mistake as he converted a penalty, though Sanchez was on red hot form and scored for the north London outfit, before Swiss international Xhaka fired one in to round off a comfortable afternoon for Wenger’s side.
