Quick Update On Real Madrid’s Squad, As Zidane’s Team Gets All Set For The El Clasico At The Nou Camp

Real Madrid

It seems that the injury concerns for the Champions league holders have now been minimized for their game against their fierce rivals and the reigning champs of Spain, Barcelona, as the two sides get set to meet up in the La Liga at the Nou Camp. After some good wins under his belt already in the current campaign, Zinedine Zidane will have an almost fully fit squad to choose his players and will look to make an impact with a win in this tough encounter.

Substitutes like Nacho Fernandez and Isco have also done a good job for Real, as and when needed and has put Los Blancos in charge for the La Liga title race at present.

Skipper Sergio Ramos once again looks good to go and will surely be expected to start after returning from injury recently and the fans will hope that French striker Karim Benzema is back at his best as well. Bale is out for this one.

The duo, who were present on the bench for the Madrid derby and watched on as Zindane’s men overcame their bitter city rivals comprehensively. A Ronaldo hat-trick comfortably ensured the three points to the current European champions.

The Portuguese talisman will be expected to lead his side with goals and Real Madrid cannot afford any sort of  slip-ups, as they look to dethrone the Catalan giants in the race to become the league champions once again.

Apart from Danilo being left out, all other players seem to be fully fit. Though it was confirmed that German international Toni Kroos did manage to train with the squad, yet the play-maker might not be picked. The midfielder could return from his injury sooner than expected, yet must still be patient.

Casemiro is all set to go, yet could start on the bench, after being rather poor in last Wednesday’s clash against Cultural Leonesa.

However, Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Isco Alarcon will be fit to start in the midfield in the playing eleven, with the trio of Lucas Vazquez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema playing upfront, which would be a huge boost for Zidane.

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla and Ruben Yáñez.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Nacho Fernandez and Marcelo.

Midfielders: James Rodriguez, Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic, Luka Modric, Marco Asensio and Isco.

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano.
Starting XI: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Ronaldo, Benzema, Marcelo, Kovacic, Lucas Vázquez, Modric, Isco.
