Three Potential Stars Arsenal Could Sign If Sanchez Leaves The Emirates

2. Julian Draxler :

Julian Draxler is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Germany national team. He is known for his ability to use both feet, his speed, and the power of his shot. Draxler made his Bundesliga debut for Schalke 04 aged 17 in January 2011, and in May of that year scored the first goal as the side won the DFB-Pokal Final. In total, he had played a tally of 171 competitive matches for Schalke, scoring 30 goals, before transferring to VfL Wolfsburg in 2015. In January 2017, he joined PSG.

A full international with over 35 caps since 2012, he was part of the Germany squad who won the 2014 FIFA World Cup, reached the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2016 and was the captain of the side that won the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, a tournament in which Draxler was awarded the Golden Ball trophy as the best player of the competition.

In recent days he is not getting chances in PSG as a winger. PSG have Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria as two winger positions. So Draxler is forced to sit on the bench for PSG. The winger’s skills and attributes are clearly suggesting that he has the potential to replace Alexis Sanchez in Arsenal. The player would be keen to get a first team choice for a renowned club and Arsenal could be a good option for him next summer.

1.Thomas Lemar :

Thomas Lemar is also French, with Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco and the France national side. He is known for his versatility, able to play on both wings and through the centre. Features of his game include dribbling and passing ability.

Lemar began his senior career with Caen back in 2013 and has since then grown as a player. He played 32 times for the club before moving to Monaco for £3.4m in 2015.He has represented France at every level from U17 to U21 and made his international senior debut in 2016 against Ivory Coast.

The 21 year old superstar is a versatile midfielder able to play on both wings as well as through the centre and in a free role. He is predominantly left footed, but is also competent with his right foot.He is noted for his excellent dribbling skills, strong passing ability and free kicks. He has said that he would prefer to link-up with team mates, rather than taking on defenders. He will often attempt to score from long range and scored 14 goals in 55 appearances in the 2016-17 season and had 17 assists.

Thomas Lemar was on Arsenal radar for many days. He could have moved this summer itself but somehow Monaco was able to retain him this season but Monaco president insisted that Lemar could leave for Arsenal in January or next summer and he would surely be able to replace Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates..
