Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been keen on a move to Real Madrid, despite being heavily linked to a list of top English big-guns like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. The Borussia Dortmund striker could get his wish as Spanish newspaper Marca has reported that a deal has been agreed in principle for the Gabon international. Previous reports of leaving Dortmund only for the Galacticos have been denied by the 27-year-old, which appeared to open the door for him to leave Germany for Manchester City in the Premier League but nothing has come of those claims earlier in the summer.
These reports say a deal has been agreed, though what isn’t clear as of now is when will the deal will go through, assuming if he switches to the Bernabeu as if he doesn’t move he may join them next summer. With Alvaro Morata returning to the Bernabeu. Bringing another striker does not seem like a good move for the European Giants at this moment.
Another forward who is being followed by the reigning champions of Europe, as well as United and the Gunners, is said to be Miguel Almiron.
Currently at Argentine club Lanus, the 22-year-old Paraguayan is wanted by Real, who are eager to sign him. The Premier League sides have also been ‘scouting’ him for quite a while now, as they look to reinforce their squads.
A late transfer window move for Almiron could potential be on for Real with Arsenal’s hopes of signing him potentially scuppered by Los Blancos….or Premier League Rivals Manchester United.
