Twitter Trolls La Liga Champions FC Barcelona Over 2-1 Loss To Deportivo Alaves

The champions of Spain had a really tough night to forget, as they were embarrassed by a newly promoted side Deportivo Alaves in the La Liga, with Luis Enrique’s side suffering a shocking 2-1 loss at the Nou Camp. The home fans were totally stunned, as none would have expected this result, after the form that the Catalan giants were in and there being only one clear winner on paper.

The European giants had already shown why they are amongst the best in the continent and had secured six points from their first couple of encounters. They were hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the league, though it was just not meant to be.

The visitors put in a solid performance in the match to cope up with their opponents and perform better, which shocked the hosts and gave Alaves a narrow win over them.

The news would have brought immense joy especially to the fans of the club’s domestic rivals Real Madrid, who were victorious 5-2 in their clash against Osasuna, earlier in the day.

The reigning champions of Europe are quite desperate to win the top flight of Spanish football under manager Zinedine Zidane this time around and this loss for Barca would have given them a much needed boost.

After the game was over, the fans of various other clubs across the globe, including Real, took out some time to troll Barcelona and here is how they reacted on Twitter, adding more fuel to the fire:
