It seems that things are just not going to improve for Antonio Conte in his debut season with Chelsea, as no matter what the Italian manager tries, somehow or the other he ends up with a new problem at hand. After a more or less average start to the new campaign in which the Blues are currently placed at 7th spot in the points table, Conte would be a bit worried as his team get set to host the reigning champions of England, Leicester City at home.
The manager of the west London outfit would be unhappy with the defeats that his side have suffered versus Liverpool and Arsenal, with centre-back John Terry injured in the past few weeks as well.
For some reason things seem to be getting just worse, as Conte’s side prepare to welcome the Foxes to Stamford Bridge.
It has now been stated that one of the best Chelsea players in the win over Hull, Victor Moses will be forced to miss out on the match against Claudio Ranieri’s side.
A one match suspension has been handed to Moses, after the 25 year old winger was accused of faking an injury to avoid playing for Nigeria.
The former Liverpool and West Ham man featured for a good, solid 85 minutes against the Tigers, helping his side take back all three points from a 2-0 win.
However, he failed to represent the country, stating an injury claim, which might land him in trouble now. This would be the first time such a ban would be implemented and it would send out a clear message to all the other players, who are part of the squads of top English clubs.
More misery for Conte!!
