Wow! Premier League Club Interested In Manchester United Skipper Wayne Rooney

The news had been running in the media outlets that Manchester United’s captain Wayne Rooney was getting ready to move to China, at the end of the current season. Though the claims were just initial stories back then, it seems that there have been some recent developments now.

The 31 year old England international has been given another option now, which will help him remain his native country itself and make good money.

Though the offer might not be as lavishing as the one, put forward to him by the Chinese Super League club, it could be a huge step in his battle to remain in the country.

The striker, who now plays in or more of a midfield role, has a chance of returning to his boyhood club Everton, who are accumulating funds to make him a good offer in order to complete his return to Goodison Park.

The Toffees are keen to add high quality stars to their current squad, with plans of getting better results and possibly some silverware, in the years to come.

Rooney played for the Merseyside outfit between 2002 and 2004, before he eventually made the switch to Old Trafford, after some impressive performances.

Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at the Theatre of Dreams, the former Toffees man has failed to really impress and has been in and out of the side.

If not China, then this could be a good option for the fierce attacker, who will be keen on securing regular football for himself now, rather than sit on the sidelines and just watch.
