It has been now stated by the Mirror that FA Cup winners Arsenal are quite eager to sign Chelsea and Manchester United’s midfield target James Rodriguez. A lot of top clubs have been keep tabs on the 25 year old Colombian international, who has been unhappy at the Bernabeu in recent times, due to the lack of playing time under current boss Zinedine Zidane.
Though, Los Blancos won back to back Champions League titles and were also crowned the champions of Spain, this time around, the attacker has not been given regular first team football.
Zidane has preferred to play his other star players, over the former Monaco man, who has now fallen down the pecking order.
This has not gone down well, between him and the French coach and it seems that the play-maker is now keen on a move away from Madrid.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been in the hunt to sign him in recent times and it seems now that Arsene Wenger’s side have joined the race as well.
The Gunners are keen on completing a move for the £50m-rated star, as they look to reinforce their front-line, with a host of players being linked with a move away from the Emirates.
The player who joined Real after the 2014 World Cup for a fee of £63m, has not been in the best of form in recent times, due to which he has been in and out of the team.
Whether the move will now go through or not, remains to be seen, though it seems that all three English giants would not want to let go of this high quality star.
