Deal Done: Chelsea And Manchester United’s Midfield Target Finally Signs Deal

Another huge saga!!
Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez was reportedly being eyed by English clubs Manchester United and Chelsea, following his lack of game-time and uncertainty of his future in the Spanish capital. The Colombian starlet has been linked with a move to France with PSG amid interest from Bayern Munich as well but claims were earlier made that he wanted a move away from the Bernabeau only to join Manchester United.
It is no secret that James Rodriguez is a world-class talent, but limited opportunities to play for the Los Blancos, have made his future a little uncertain as to whether he will be wanted by the fans or club in the coming months.
Rodriguez has lost his place in the side when Zinedine Zidane was appointed manager for Real Madrid, as players like Isco, Modric and Kroos began to form an orchestrated rhythm in the centre of the park which managed to establish a great partnership last season.
Madrid regained the La Liga crown and kept hold of their Champions League title in a fantastic season but James wasn’t a key member of the side. He made just 13 league starts and despite scoring in eight of them, he still couldn’t make his way back to the regular starting line-up.
The 25 year old moved lower and lower down the pecking order as youngster like Marco Asensio and Lucas Vasquez were given opportunities before him. This uncertainty has been a green light for Manchester United and Chelsea who are keen on bringing James to England.
The Red Devils have already landed big forward Romelu Lukaku from Everton and wanted another quality attacker in James and so did the Conte’s Blues.
Rodriguez shot to stardom when he won the Golden Boot in the 2014 FIFA World Cup leading Colombia to the Quarter-finals of the tournament. Real Madrid signed him in 2014 and has made 77 appearances for Real Madrid in the league scoring 28 goals.
He is not just a play-maker, but has good shooting ability as well and can score goals, if given the right opportunities to showcase his talents.
Despite that, it may seem all their efforts have now gone in vain, as there is some major news come in relating to his future, which will be liked by the fans of the two English giants.
Deal or no deal?
Well, the player who was keen to leave the Bernabeu, in search of regular footballing action has now reportedly signed a two year loan deal. However, the club that he has moved to is neither of the two that he was linked to for so long, but are the champions of Germany, Bayern Munich.
Heart-break for the duo, who could have done so much with a player like James in their squad. He will now be playing for the Bundesliga giants, who will want to win the Champions League title once again, in the seasons to come.
