From the statistics it is very clear that Morata has a vast experience of playing in bigger stages and his quality has already been proven. The player is good at air and at holding up the ball, with clinical finishing ability, quick feet and excellent movement. Morata had been compared previously with Fernando Morientes due to his playing style. During his first season at Juventus, he stood out for his pace, energy and work rate on the pitch while his technique, opportunism and positional sense saw him score several crucial goals. A versatile and well rounded forward, Morata is capable of playing at lone striker and linking up play between the lines or even he can play out wide on wings. Moreover he is an accurate penalty taker.
Morata had already scored two goals and two assists for Chelsea this season. With Hazard and Pedro coming back from their injuries Chelsea would be stronger in the next matches. The link up play between Hazard and Morata would be vital this season for Chelsea. Alvaro has a great heading quality and the wing-backs also could provide crosses for him. He was known to Conte from Juventus days as Conte brought him at Juve that time. The chemistry between them would be very important also for Chelsea’s success this season. Morata is also keen to prove himself as he wants to fix his spot in the first Xi of Spain in the upcoming World Cup next year. So it would be a safe bet to predict that Morata would be helpful for Chelsea to retain the Premier League title this season.
