The two teams that ended up playing a draw have failed to make something out of the title race this term. They have slowly faded away handing Manchester City the overall advantage, with Pep Guardiola’s side running high freely, with no real competition at the top of the points table. With that said and done, there have been a host of injury problems and inconsistent form that have hurt both sides and their title ambitions.
Team News :
Arsenal :
Olivier Giroud will not be available to play in the big match due to a hamstring injury. Santi Cazorla remained a long term absentee for the Gunners. Aaron Ramsey will also be out of the clash due to a injury. Sead Kolasinac is also a doubt for the Gunners in this big match against Liverpool.
Arsene Wenger is playing with a 3-4-3 formation in this whole season. Petr Cech will start in the Arsenal Goal against Liverpool. Monreal, Mustafi and Koscielny will be playing in the central defense for Arsenal. Bellerin and Kolasinac will play as two wing backs while Xhaka and Wilshere will feature in the heart of the midfield for Arsenal. Sanchez, Lacazette and Ozil will be leading Arsenal from the upfront.
Liverpool :
Daniel Sturridge will be unavailable to play in this match due to injury. Alberto Moreno, Grujic, Matip and Nathaniel Clyne are also among long term absentees.
Karius will probably start in the Liverpool Goal in the match against Bournemouth while Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan and Robertson will play in the defense for Liverpool. Wijnaldum, Can and Coutinho will feature in the heart of the midfield for Liverpool while Mane, Salah and Firmino will be leading Liverpool from the upfront in the match against Bournemouth.
Key Men For The Season:
Alexandre Lacazette will be the key man for Arsenal in the current campaign, as he has already show so far that they need a renowned goalscorer, while Mohamed Salah will have to play a big role if Liverpool have to dominate the top flight of English football. The Egyptian winger has been in top form thus far and hopefully he can continue to perform in similar fashion.
Both managers will hope that all their players are fit, with some of these stars expected to join the playing eleven soon.

Upcoming Fixtures-
For The Gunners-
Arsenal will face off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Thursday evening, with the Gunners looking to ensure that they finish in the top four of the Premier League. In the past month or so, they have faded away from the title race and it seems that their chances of getting something out of the league is next to impossible now. They may need a Christmas miracle to actually get something out of this competition this term.
For The Reds-
Liverpool decimated Swansea City 5-0 in the league in mid-week and will now face off against Leicester City in the league in their last game of 2017. The Merseyside outfit have once again been poor and will want to make amends in the new year. Hopefully, things work out for them with a lot of crucial fixtures coming up.
