Arsenal And Liverpool Fight For Young Winger, Along With Update On Former Chelsea Star And More

Monaco’s talented winger Thomas Lemar is being subjected  to a transfer tussle between Arsenal and Liverpool. Liverpool are in the market to find replacement for Coutinho, who made a  €142m move to Barcelona earlier, at the beginning of the winter transfer window.  Jurgen Klopp is spoiled with too many attacking options upfront at Liverpool.  Roberto Firmino, Mohammad Salah, Sadio Mane and Lallana  all doing pretty well for the Merseyside so far.  Reports in Germany even claim that Liverpool had reached personal agreement with Naby Keita for a move next summer.Though the deal still hinges on RB Leipzig’s resolve to hold on to their starman.
Arsenal are also said to be keen to bring the French winger to North London.   Their main priority of landing Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United now fulfilled, Wenger is now turning his attention to his other targets.
With uncertainty looming over Arsenal main man Ozil’s future, Wenger’s intention to bring Lemar  seems legit.
Meanwhile, speaking at the start of the month Monaco boss Jardim has stated “Monaco are not in the habit of naking big sales in winter”.
“But every player has a price.meet that, and the player is yours” said no manager ever.
Thomas Lemar is now valued at €90m. The price will go up, should he perform well at the World Cup in Russia. All the potential clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool are on alert and  want to complete the deal before the big tournament commences.

JUST IN: Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Arsenal have enquired about the availability of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. The North Londoners are willing to pay €52m for the Gabonese forward.  However reports in Germany claim that Dortmund are holding out for €60m  for their gifted front-man and a loan move for Arsenal’s forward Oliver Giroud until the end of the season.
Mario Balotelli’s hope’s of going back to Juventus were dented.  The troublesome Italian scored 17 goals for French side OGC Nice this season. However, CEO of Juventus as brushed down Balotelli to Juventus rumours as hoax. He said, “There is love for the boy here, but we don’t need him right now.”
Lassana Diarra , the former Chelsea and Real Madrid player has signed for PSG on a  free transfer after his contract got terminated at club Al Jazira. Manchester United’s  Spanish attacker Juan Mata has stated that he is staying at Old Trafford for the time being, brushing aside any rumours  of going elsewhere. Jose Mourinho’s trusted player wants to see out his contract at the “Theatre of Dreams”.
Reports in Italy claim that  Roma pair Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmeiri are on the verge of leaving Giolorossi’s for a switch to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea may sign them for a deal worth €54m. But some recent reports are also suggesting that Dzeko has denied the move to Chelsea in this transfer window. This will create a lot of problems for the Blues as they need a striker badly to stay in the contention of finishing at top four in the Premier League.
