Breaking: Arsenal Desperate To Sign This Barcelona Target To Fill Alexis Sanchez Void?

This winter transfer window was all about Arsenal show. One of the cheapest and valuable deals they had done there. Though Arsenal failed to retain star player like Alexis Sanchez, but they well sorted their attacking half with two world class transfers. An attacking force of Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Ozil with Ramsey, Wilshere and Xhaka in supporting play, can you imagine how bigger destruction this line up can offer? The days were not far when quality strikers were not present at Emirates, and now Lacazette and Welbeck may fight to gain the match start. Once all this elite players get settled and make up their coordination, they may start boosting their home with goals and victories.

The problem lies somewhere else, behind that. The casual faults in the back third, the soft spot in the middle third, the lack of closing down, the sloppy center backs. These are the problems may look into solve this summer and half of these may get solved by one individual.

Max Meyer, who had been a long term target for Arsenal and it has again rejuvenated in the news. His name got flashed in January as a real and potential Gunners’ choice despite of Schalke’s dim performances. He has maintained himself as one of the best defensive midfielder in Bundesliga, at least better than the moon of some fans’ eye, Naby Keita.

He is undersized, so is N’Golo Kante and Keita, the one we have been worshipped last few months. The reason behind his success lies in his presence of mind, he is an outstanding midfield ball winner. He can be compared to Cazorla by attire, but far more have to give than him, at his age of 22.

Arsenal’s ever-drought (at least, they didn’t get any after my birth) league winning saga must be ended now. So if a re creation helps in that why not!

The problem is obviously Bayern Munich. The ‘greater’ Bayern treats the rest of the clubs of Bundesliga as harvesting ground. It’s like all is theirs. People shall grow there and play for them when they get maturity. They have already entered into the race to catch Meyer after securing Goretzka.

Tottenham were also after him last summer, but interests have been gone to ‘last sip level’ since then. Another Premier League club seems to give tough fight for this German international. Jurgen Klopp who is also a German by birth would have no problem to culture this young talent at Anfield. Money won’t be a factor for them, as their account is full and fatty for the Coutinho deal.

On the other hand, Barcelona also showing interests for this midfielder. Well, if you are thinking, money will be an issue for them after purchasing two grand deals of the season in Dembele and Coutinho, then you are quite wrong! Barcelona’ money never finish. Well, should we expect Real Madrid and Chelsea if it is all about money? Or maybe they are planning something bigger for the summer?

Who knows! Do you?
