Arsenal Set To Beat Manchester City To Land This Young Barcelona Star?

The transfer rumours not every time surround around the well known superstars of football world. The football academy of Barcelona has produced uncountable well trained and skilled candidates who earned respect and good times all around the clubs in Europe. This time, as the summer window is approaching, it is expected that Barcelona wonder-kid Robert Navarro is going to have high demand as the two top class clubs of England, Arsenal and Manchester City are already on their shoes to chase him down.

Pep Guardiola could pick one of his former club’s finest prospects but Robert Navarro may follow the shoes of Fabregas and join Arsenal. The Gunners are looking to beat Manchester City to persuade the young kid to leave Camp Nou. The same path that Cesc Fabregas chose could be his also who is also highly linked up with Blaugrana great Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.

The Frenchman Arsene Wenger will obviously try to convince him saying Navarro would get a prospering future in the North London. The La Liga side is trying to hold talks persuading him to stay, but being a 15-year-old teenager, he is yet to sign a professional contract and could leave for a modest training compensation fee.

The midfielder turns 16 on April 12 and. After that he may decide whether he signs new terms with the Spanish giants or leaves. Navarro does not have any release clause in his deal. It means any club which does convince him to join them will have the open chance to pay nominal compensation fees to Barcelona.

Along with Arsenal and Manchester City, Serie A giants Juventus and Ligue 1 side Monaco are also interested in this midfielder.

According to the Spanish media, the Spaniard will have talks with Barcelona and then will decide what to do next. It would take seven days after which he may take a decision. Navarro is waiting to hear the club’s planning regarding his future in the Blaugrana nation before considering any offer.

Emirates will be a dream place for the kid in his budding stage. Arsenal would give him more opportunities than anyone in England as they usually do to build confidence in a young lad. The strength in depth in City would be a formidable task for the youngster to overcome.

Arsenal successfully managed to bring Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona earlier in similar scenarios.

Arsenal are thirteen points off from the fourth placed Tottenham and drooling at sixth spot in Premier League. The chances to finish in top four seems next to impossible. Though they have qualified to the semi finals of Europa League, the bad patch in Premier League is going on and on. They lost to Newcastle 2-1 yesterday. Lacazette gave the Gunners an early lead at 14th minute, which was equalised by Perez 15 minute later.

The late goal by Ritchie decided the fate of the match after which the Gunners stuck in the match completely. They are gonna Manchester United after the first leg of the Europa League semi finals against Atletico Madrid which would be their home leg.
