Arsenal Have Announced Unai Emery As The Replacement For Arsene Wenger, Will He Be A David Moyes?

As we all know that Arsene Wenger has left the Gunners after the end of the season. The 22 year long managerial career of Arsene Wenger has come to an end few days ago. After that, the speculations were very much on there about the new manager who would take the hot seat at the Emirates after the era of Arsene Wenger.

Unai Emery has been finally confirmed to be the new manager of Arsenal today. The speculations were very much on before two days about this announcement. Unai Emery has left his job at the Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain after the end of this season; though one year was still left in his contract for the Ligue 1 Giants. There were several names who were in the talks to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal from the closing stage of the previous season.

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique was there in the front list to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal in this season. But the high wage demand of Luis Enrique has ruled him out of the job of getting into the managerial position of the Gunners in the next season. After that, former Arsenal player Mikel Arteta was in the talks with the club management to be the new manager of the club in the next season. Mikel Arteta was previously the assistant of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. But at the end the club management have thought that Mikel Arteta is too much inexperienced to take the big job of being the manager of Arsenal at this point of time.

So, finally Arsenal club management have decided that the Spanish manager Unai Emery is the perfect choice for them to manage the club at this point of time. Unai Emery has been very successful in his previous days at Sevilla and Paris Saint Germain. Unai Emery had won 3 consecutive Europa League trophies for Sevilla and in the last time they were able to get the victory against the mighty Liverpool side managed by Jurgen Klopp.

Unai Emery has also gave Paris Saint Germain a lots of success in his two years of managerial career at France. Paris Saint Germain were able to be the runner’s up in the Ligue 1 in his first season at charge for the Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain. He had won both the cups in France in back to back two seasons. Paris Saint Germain were able to get the Ligue 1 title this season under the management of Unai Emery.

The shock exit from the UEFA Champions League was one of the reasons of his leaving from the Ligue 1 side after the end of the season. Now, Unai Emery will be very much focused on getting success in English Premier League for Arsenal. Unai Emery will try to win more trophies for the Gunners in this season. The job will be very much tough for the new manager; but he will surely try to give his best at the Emirates to begin a new era.

Well, from what we have seen so far, the new main-man should be much better at doing his job, than what David Moyes did at Old Trafford, post the Sir Alex era. He is much sound as a manager and has managed PSG, which have been the champions of France for quite some time.

If he can win the league with the Gunners any time soon, it will be a huge boost for the north London outfit, who have not seen domestic glory for quite some time, apart from the FA Cup title.
