Breaking: Sources Confirm Player Will Not Be Able To Refuse Arsenal Offer, As Gunners Keen To Sign

According to sources in Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are ready to let go off their second choice keeper Jasper Cillesen if the interested clubs are ready to pay his €60m release clause. English teams like Liverpool and Arsenal are desperate to bring a new goalkeeper ahead of the new season and this new comes as an alarm bell for them.

While Liverpool already are linked with keepers like Alisson, Arsenal have failed to link with one. Thus, the club from Emirates stadium is raising the heat to make way for a goalkeeping star.
The former Ajax goalie Cillesen has stayed second choice at Camp Nou since his transfer in 2016 summer window. His shock move from eredivisie football was never explained even though he knew he will be not used as a starter over here.
This season he was restricted to only 11 appearances for his club, keeping 9 clean sheets in them.
Cillesen’s situation at Barcelona is an opening for Arsenal to launch themselves in business and trigger his release clause. If they are able to fill up the money, they are believed to be enjoying a good season in the post Wenger era.
The Gunner’s defense was breached several times in the past season that restricted them to feature in yet another Champions league season. One of the major issues was the goalkeeping position.
Petr Cech is no more dominant goalkeeper with lack in flexibility and hence a change is required. They need some leadership from the No 1 now.
Target Cillesen will be gaining starting spots if he arrives and that can turn his carrier once again. The Dutch keeper will be wishing in his hearts to get back to his unsung best once again.
During his time at Ajax and the National team, Cilissen completed brave assignments to call himself among the best in the world. The keeper, still youth, carries a strong mentality in understanding situation inside games and keeping his nerves in crucial ties.
Premier league football may prove to be an important turn around for the 29 year old who is also very good with his feet. Arsenal’s demands meet with him and he might turn out to be the ideal keeper for them in all circumstances.
