Sergio Ramos Does Not Want This Star To Be A First Team Starter For Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos

According to the various sources, Sergio Ramos does not want that Vinicius Jr to break into the Starting lineup of Real Madrid this much early in his career. Vinicius Jr has joined Real Madrid in this summer transfer window with a transfer fee worth £46m from his boyhood club Flamengo. The 18 year old Brazilian winger is a sensational talent and he should be monitored well at Real Madrid in the upcoming days.

But, the senior players of Real Madrid like Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema does not want to see Vinicius Jr in the starting eleven of the Los Blancos at the beginning of the new season. Instead of that, they are preferring to see the academy product of Real Madrid, Marco Asensio to be there in the starting lineup of Real Madrid in this season.

After winning three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles in three back to back seasons, many things have changed inside the dressing room of Real Madrid. Their manager Zinedine Zidane left the club and their star Portuguese left wing forward Cristiano Ronaldo decided to move to Juventus to take new challenges in his career. Real Madrid club management have failed to land any proper replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo in this summer transfer window yet. The new manager Julen Lopetegui has to bring out the best from the players available in the squad of Real Madrid to fill up the void of Cristiano Ronaldo in the team.

Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez wants the young talented Brazilian left wing forward Vinicius Jr to get his chance in the starting lineup of Real Madrid after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. But, the manager of Real Madrid, Julen Lopetegui is not yet ready to give the chance to Vinicius Jr in the first team that much early in his career. Juan Lopetegui has fielded a side with 4-3-3 formation in the first match of La Liga. In this formation, Marco Asensio and Gareth Bale have started in both the flanks. Vinicius Jr was in the bench as an unused substitute in that match. Julen Lopetegui has not considered him to give the chance in the first match of La Liga despite his good performance against Manchester United in the preseason tournament.

According to the sources, the senior players of Real Madrid have convinced their manager to give Marco Asensio the extra responsibility in this season. There is no doubt about the talent of Vinicius Jr. But if he plays much first team football in this season, he might be exhausted and his growth as a player will be hampered. So, the young Brazilian winger should be used wisely so that he can make his progress slowly and gradually at Real Madrid.

Vinicius Jr is surely a talented player and he will sign under the management of Julen Lopetegui. The style of play in La Liga will increase his passing accuracy in the future. Vinicius Jr will certainly be a star footballer of Brazil if he is nurtyeed well at Real Madrid in his early days.
