The Three Best Arsenal Players So Far This Season, Can They Deliver Now?

2. Alexandre Lacazette :

Lacazette having had a fairly decent last season scoring 14 goals and giving 4 assists, totally in  38 games. He came on as a substitute 6 times in the 32 games. He has looked more sharp this season than in the previous. With a winter window of signing of Aubameyang, the pair have gotten along well with each other this season. As it has been observed in  the two games, Arsenal created more chances after Lacazette came on.

Also, Aubameyang got into the game more once Lacazette got onto the pitch. Aubameyang was left isolated both the games when he played as the center forward although, he got delightful chances which should have been converted. So Lacazette playing front would ensure more goals as he has definitely  changed the intensity of the game both the times he came on and also got Aubameyang into the game. This would ensure Lacazette and Aubameyang both playing at their top game. Lacazette is a key for Arsenal this season. Will Lacazette be a game changer for Arsenal this season?

1. Petr Cech :

With the club captain Laurent Koscielny  being sidelined with an injury, it is Cech who will lead the team till then. Cech has already made some crucial saves this season. As Unai Emery suggested to us in the press conference that both Cech and Leno are important in their own ways, he is going to go with Cech experience in the Premier League. Cech has been one of the top performers this season.

It is the defense which let them down. He really couldn’t do much with any of the goals. He did do one horrendous mistake. Arsenal tried hard to work the ball out of the back and break the City press, with new boy Guendouzi playing a pass back to Cech. The moment that drew nervous gasps from the Gooners at the Emirates and worldwide, Cech attempted to play the ball wide to the right flank, but eventually ended up misplacing his pass. It could have really been costly, though they escaped narrowly.

Although he did make that mistake, he holds a major role in the team this season. He can guide the team and also has been playing well making some crucial saves both the matches and not letting the game go out of hand. As much as Arsenal fans await to see their new signing, they should realise it is better to have Cech behind the two posts for the Premier League and Leno can be there for the cups and Europa. As experience plays a key in the Premier League. Should Leno be given a chance or should we go with cech’s  experience ? – Emery has to take his stand.
