Real Madrid Wants This Chelsea Star Now, Will A Deal Actually Happen?

Real Madrid are looking to bolster their defense and after promising left back Theo Hernandez left the European giants for Spanish Liga outfit Real Sociedad on a season long loan, the three time consecutive Champions league winners have turned their eye towards former La Fabrica academy graduate Marcos Alonso.

Marcos Alonso has had a great start to the Premier League campaign this season and has sort of rejuvenated himself under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri, Alonso has so far been instrumental in the opening weeks of the season as he has scored a goal and assisted twice maintaining Chelsea’s 100% winning record intact in three league games.

The Galacticos already posses a world class left back in Brazilian international Marcelo who has been a undisputed starter for the past decade and just last summer they acquired the services of Atletico Madrid’s academy graduate Theo Hernandez but he unfortunately failed to make a name for himself at the Bernabeu and left for regular game time to another La Liga side Real Sociedad.

Fabio Coentrao was also made to terminate his contract due to lack of opportunities and hence the European giants are forced to look for a probable back up for Marcelo and if they manage to land Alonso he can be great backup for that position and will provide tough competition to the Brazilian international and may also establish himself as a undisputed started ahead of the 30 year old.

The Spanish giants may face competition from arch rivals Atletico Madrid as Diego Simeone is also looking to add more quality to his side but nothing can be done as of now as the transfer window will open in the January and Chelsea will certainly reject any advances made by both the clubs as they will not lose one of their key player mid way through the season.

Los Blancos were also interested in the Blues star campaigner Eden Hazard but they failed to agree on a potential sum with Chelsea and hence the move broke out but Real Madrid managed to sign Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea after the Belgian international went AWOL and failed to report to training after the World Cup.

Eden Hazard spoke to media after the win against rivals Arsenal he said “You know what did I say after the World Cup. I’m very happy here at Chelsea and I do not like to talk about it as of now. Too any things are being said which is nonsense everything of it. For now I am really happy, I still have two years left on my contract and we’ll see what happens after that but I will not leave this year.

He further added “The transfer window is already closed for us so we can sell but we can’t sign any new players, it would be strange for the club to let go of me and sign a replacement, The fans here like me a lot I feel really good here, lets see what happens after a year or two.

He also spoke about the new manager Maurizio Sarri “He likes to control the ball and I cant find anything wrong in that I like to play and have a ball at my feet all the time we also have players who can create some magic with it he is a great manager like we had one before him”
