The Strange Comment By Maurizio Sarri That Surprised All The Chelsea Fans

Maurizio Sarri asked Chelsea fans not to get much excited about the results so far in the Premier League. The Blues have registered four wins in a row in the new season of the Premier League. Maurizio Sarri is not completely happy with the performance of the boys. There are still some problems in the display of Chelsea, as he has stated now and wants the team to “improve”.

Maurizio Sarri ascertained that the players are giving all their efforts in the field. They are trying very hard to accommodate themselves in the new system. It is not a very easy task for the players to get used to with a new formation within few days. It takes much time to settle into a new system. In these 4 weeks in the Premier League, this Chelsea side tried to give their level best in the field.

The fixture in the first phase of the Premier League was not much tough for the Blues. Though they had to face the Gunners at Stamford Bridge and Newcastle United at St James Park. Chelsea were not able to get a win against their arch rivals Arsenal in the previous two seasons. So, it was a big match for Maurizio Sarri as the fans wanted a win badly. Chelsea have defeated Arsenal with a margin of 3-2 in an exciting contest at Stamford Bridge.

In the next match against Newcastle United, it was also a tough match for the Blues. The record of Chelsea at St James Park was not speaking in their way. Chelsea were not able to get a single win at St James Park in the last seven seasons. This time also, the manager of Newcastle United, Rafa Benitez also decided to park the bus against the Blues to destroy their free flowing football. Chelsea were unable to break the deadlock till the 70 minute mark. But after that, they were able to get a win against Newcastle United with a margin of 2-1.

In the previous match Bournemouth, the Blues were not able to get the lead till 70 minutes. After that, it was a combination of Giroud and Pedro which had given them the lead in the match. Then, it was Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard’s combination to double the lead for the Blues. Maurizio Sarri stated that Marcos Alonso is currently the left back in Europe right now. The player only needs to improve his defensive qualities to become the best in the whole World.

Manchester City had outclassed Chelsea in the Community Shield match one month back. But, Chelsea came back stronger in the Premier League. Still, their new manager Maurizio Sarri thinks that they are behind Manchester City and Liverpool in terms of winning the Premier League title in this season. Maurizio Sarri might be right in this sense as the Blues are still not looking lethal upfront of the Goal. They still need to acquire the strategy to kill the game as soon as possible. Otherwise it might be difficult for them in the next phase of the Premier League after the International Break.
