Update On The Future Of This Chelsea Star Under Sarri (Not Hazard)

Chelsea had a busy end to the transfer window. The Blues signed Kepa Arrizabalaga as a replacement for the Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtois. Courtois refused to return back in London in training and had his dream move to Real Madrid. Chelsea managed to settle out a world-record £72m fee for Kepa which broke the honour held by new Liverpool new goalkeeper Alisson. The Brazilian made out to the Premier League side from Roma just 24 hours before the transfer deadline. Sarri is still getting into the grips with his current Blues squad following his summer arrival. The Former league champions have numerous players out on loan and Sarri is currently evaluating his new team.

The news got reported earlier that the former Napoli boss is refusing to let Piazon leave Stamford Bridge on loan this season. They said that Sarri has blocked negotiations, with the Italian keen to take a proper look at the attacker and utilise him in his own way. Piazon was reported as a big fan of Sarri following his arrival in west London. The 24-years-old had a five loan spells following his move to Chelsea in 2012.

Though the news have been changed now. According to the news coming from London,  the Chelsea attacking-midfielder could leave the club on loan. It is said that ‘talks have begun’ with newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Reims. The French club could agree a deal that could become permanent next summer.

As Piazon looks unlikely to get any sort of playing time under new boss Maurizio Sarri, a move away from Stamford Bridge could settle his future. However, whether he will leave now or wait for some time remains to be seen.

Piazon joined Chelsea from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2012. He had gone on to make just three appearances in all competitions. It is obvious that the lack of playing time for the Blues has led him to embark a number of loan moves to Malaga (14 appearances), Vitesse Arnhem (31 appearances, 11 goals), Eintracht Frankfurt (23 appearances, two goals), Reading (27 appearances, five goals) and Fulham (58 appearances, 12 goals) most recently.

Moreover, Reims could be his next as the Ligue 1 new kiddos are keen to bolster their attack with the Brazilian under 23 international. Reims are currently holding the sixth position in Ligue 1 with six points from their first three games of the season. They have beaten OGC Nice and Olympique Lyonnais so far. Piazon won’t want to spend the 2018/19 campaign in the bench. So he could be open to a move to France if an official offer comes his way.

Chelsea got off to a flying start in the Premier League beatin Huddersfield in the opener. The Blues are now in the third position after three matches. It was a historical win against Arsenal in the second game week as they beat the Gunners by 3-2 margin. A streak of three consecutive wins took place against Newcastle last week and Chelsea is now behind the Spurs and Liverpool only by the goal differences. Chelsea will face Bournemouth up next tomorrow.
