Arsenal Should Look To Sign This Top Winger To Win More Titles

Yannick Carrasco, the Belgian wing forward who left La Liga for his Chinese venture may return to the main course of the European football. Carrasco is eying to return in the European football and according to the sources, Arsenal and Juventus are targeting the former Atletico Madrid guy. The former La Liga forward has spent almost a year in the Chinese Super League now. This move caused several controversies nine months ago when he decided to join Dalian Yifang along with team-mate Nicolas Gaitan. Despite the lucrative life in China, the 25-year-old still managed to make into Roberto Martinez’s Belgium World Cup squad, helping the Red Devils finish third in Russia. Moreover, the forward is reportedly on the lookout for a club in Europe. According to the leading sources, Carrasco wants to return to Europe and is searching for an interested. Last year, both Juventus and the Gunners were chasing the energetic winger, who scored in the 2016 Champions League Final. It seems a hefty opportunity for both the European clubs and one of them should get their man this time around.

The Belgium international has three goals in 11 games since making the switch to China, but he could already be about to call time on his spell in the New Year. Arsenal are one of the sides who are interested to grab the Belgian and ESPN pundit and former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop was asked about Carrasco’s potential move to the Emirates.

He believes that Carrasco would be a perfect choice for the Gunners, so it is best for them to sign him and fast. He said that this move is a hit for him. He also said that Carrasco is an incredible talent but he (Carrasco) surprised him (Hislop) by moving out to China.

Like everyone he also thinks that that move was only for just purely in dollar signs. He again said that if Arsenal can give him the kind of wages he’s looking for, in terms of the football Unai Emery and Carrasco will be a good combination according to Hislop. He continues to believe that Carrasco is an incredible talent.

Carrasco has played 20 games for Dalian Yifang in all competitions and has five goals. He had previously spent three quality seasons at Spain for Atletico Madrid, played 125 times under Diego Simeone. However, Dalian Yifang are at 10th position in the league, out of 16 teams. Despite Carrasco’s personal good form, in China, there really isn’t much for him to be excited about. No quality football and no scope for improvement. Perhaps this may push him over the edge to try and force a move back to Europe.

If so, the winger man with impressive dribbling skills and through balls in his locker would be a decent target for Arsenal. Arsenal beat Fulham today in the Premier League clash where that had a decent result of 5-1 to them. Aubameyang and Lacazette scored twice each where Ramsey had one goal in his pocket. For Fulham, it was only Vietto scored the single goal for the Cottagers.
