Liverpool Given Huge Boost In The Race To Sign This Top Star, Guess Who?

Liverpool handed major boost to land South American talent after Spanish league champions Barcelona pulls off from the chase. Exciting Brazilian talent Lucas Paqueta is the latest uprising star evolving from the region and has caught attention from European big spenders. Also, he’s collected senior caps for the national team deeming to be a future prodigy for Brazil. But his arousing commitment in the club level is the one making the noise. Paqueta is a breakout competitor at Brazilian Serie A club Flamengo. Coming on from the youth setup of the club since joining the nation’s giants in 2007, Paqueta is a skillful player customary with his quick feet and burst of pace after making his debut in March 2016.

Though questions are asked on his physical impact of the game, Paqueta doesn’t need one courtesy of his intelligence in getting into position and supreme dribbling ability. His recent engagement with the club has been one step further. Under Coach Mauricio Barbieri in favour of attacking set of football, the 21 year old refurnished himself into a top graded player of future asking.  An attacking midfielder by position, Lucas loves to drop in the wings to construct play and using himself as an extra forward as well. As a result, he has able to register couple of goals and assists more efficiently in the new season. Sometimes the manager use himself as an transistor of passes just before the back four in a 4-1-4-1 formation that makes himself commendable on the ball in the defensive aspect. In general, he looks the right kid to fill in the boots of the old.

As a result, Jurgen Klopp Liverpool is wishing to add him in the list of high budgetary signings the Reds undertook in the past window to hunt for league supremacy this time after an outstanding European campaign last season.  The existing signing added by the refined front three of Salah, Mane and Firmino has accumulated 19 points from 7 games in the new campaign going seven matches unbeaten from the beginning, a new club record. However, problems remain on the side.

Against Chelsea, Liverpool struggled to keep a steady attacking mood throughout the game opening up defence too in crucial time. This comes as a result of a midfield that is ageing. Jordan Henderson and James Milner, no matter how dominating they are, losing the chemistry on the ball post young age.

For that, Liverpool is looking out for a play-maker to release the pressure on them.  Anyway, all guns firing indeed for Klopp who intends to make the side more powerful than ever. Hence, Paqueta has come in the radar of demand.  Using him, Klopp won’t have to depend on the trio every time and most importantly Salah to curve him of the critics of one season wonder after a less than impressive start.

The highly rated youngster has a €50m release clause on his contract. Barcelona showed a keen interest to land the starlet but now seems to driven away from the path. Ernesto Valverde’s men had a okay start to the season but then shifted from their winning mentality after two draws and one defeat in last four. But, they are not showing any urgency to seal the deal of the future prospect and believe in the midfield quality they sustain this season. So, Anfield now looks a preferred destination for Paqueta to enjoy an exciting season with the Reds confident of winning the premier league title in answer to their signings.
