Deal Done: Tabloid Confirms Arsenal Has Signed Denis Suarez On Loan From FC Barcelona

A tabloid on Twitter confirmed that Denis Suarez has joined Arsenal, along with other major tabloids. The Barcelona midfielder has linked with the Gunners for quite some time now, with the north London giants trying to lure him away from the Nou Camp. Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been in the hunt for more replacements in the current transfer window and will be looking at adding such players to his squad, who can give his team the edge over their rivals.

Despite the 2-1 win at the Emirates against Cardiff City, it was clear that the team was lacking some creativity and the players looked rather tired. They were really poor in the first half and could have gone down a few goals, if the finishing from the visitors was any better. This means that there is need of more players to fortify the midfield as well and fill in any voids of quality.

With that being said, the 25 year old superstar will be brought in to be a long-term star and can possibly replace the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil in the Arsenal midfield. Surely there will be more firepower coming in during the summer transfer window. However, this deal is for the Londoners’ current challenge for silverware and a top four finish.

The president of the Catalan giants is also keen on letting him go, though the club from Spain were always more interested in his permanent move away. They were not into the whole loan deal, though when Emery declared that Arsenal had no money to spend in January, Barca had to accept their demands.

He is a good player though has not been able to make it into the first-team on a regular basis and wants to get more game-time. For that purpose, he wants to be on the move and the Spanish manager can give him the right kind of opportunities to showcase his talents now.

Arsenal have previously signed the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin from the La Liga champs and this could be yet another such deal that could make things happen. If the likes of Coutinho have become a bench-warmer for Barca, what good is a Denis Suarez to them. However, the north London giants can surely utilize his talents and win some titles in the days to come.

Some of the fans were not really convinced about the player’s capabilities initially and wanted a better and more consistent player that they could trust in, probably a big-name. Despite that, with the club not ready to spend at all, they are now willing to just bring at least one more quality player and let Emery do his thing.

This transfer saga took a long time to materialize and it is a positive thing now that at least Arsenal have finally signed a player in January, as confirmed by our sources. Emery too confirmed that the player will bring real quality to the team and will be a good signing, which give the fans some assurance at least.
