2. Abdoulaye Doucoure (Watford)
Maurizio Sarri received a rude awakening at Bournemouth on Wednesday night
when his side was thumped 4-0 by the Cherries, certainly putting his managerial
spot in doubt. Adding to that, he was all so quick to admit the fact that he
requires a replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucouré has been one of the most sought after players this transfer window. Doucoure’s form has attracted the attention of some big clubs and Chelsea seem to be massive fans of the 26-year-old. Doucoure’s future has previously been up in the air, after he admitted that a move to Paris Saint-Germain would be a dream.
However, with his eminent desire to play for a big club, a move to Chelsea could certainly fulfill that and though the deal did not happen in January, the Blues’ offers for this star would surely be ready.
