Update On The Future Of This Most-Wanted Chelsea Star (Not Hazard)

Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich will not let their heavy interest in Chelsea’s U-19 star Callum Hudson Odoi cool down despite being shunned 4 times in their pursuit to lure him to Allianz Arena last month. Despite being tipped as the next big thing in English football early last summer, Hudson Odoi has failed to become a regular in the senior squad.

The 18 year old has not even completed 100 minutes in the Premier League and is yet to make a start for the Blues his only appearances have come in the dying minutes of the game which clearly shows how Chelsea plan on to trust their academy players with more minutes rather than shipping them out to some unknown club in Cyprus.

Callum Hudson Odoi has featured for just 608 minutes this season and has contributed in 5 goals, He has not completed a single half in the Premier league and his only starts have come in the Europa league and the FA Cup where he did however play full 90 minutes in a couple of games in both the tournaments respectfully.

Blues manager Maurizio Sarri says it’s not his decision to make that whether the club will give him a new deal or cast him off the Germany next season. The board at the Stamford Bridge however did offer the teenager an enormously improved deal but lad has made up his mind on a potential exit from England in order to peruse more regular minutes and develop his game and where better than Bayern, one of Europe’s elite club with a rich history and the most successful club of Germany.

It is clearly evident from the fact that the teenager is fed up after not been given much confidence ad minutes from the Blues management and now that he knows he has the potential to make it big and Bayern Munich’s constant interest in him nothing will persuade him to pen down a new deal and it would have been better if Chelsea had accepted a decent offer of £30m for the 18 year old and instead decided to hold him out for more £5m which is above my understanding as to how could they do it.

The England born forward was offered almost £70,000 a week but the lad has rejected almost every offer put on the table for him and was apparently also assured more playing minutes but nothing has convinced him to sign on the dotted line as of now and his current contract is set to run out by next summer (2020) and if Chelsea are looking to hold him on in a miraculous effort to convince him to sign a new deal they might lose him for free if they decide against selling him this summer.

If Eden Hazard is sold to the Los Blancos this summer Hudson-Odoi could be assured of regular game time and if Chelsea manage to sweeten the deal by of course increasing his wage he may be convinced of the project here than move abroad and take his chances with the Bundesliga champions.
