Shocking: Gareth Bale To Be Used As Bait For Real Madrid’s Ambitions In The Upcoming Transfer Window

According to the latest reports, the Los Blancos are prepared to swap star attacker Gareth Bale in order to lure in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen in the upcoming summer transfer window. The report claims that Real Madrid are interested in a swap deal for the two players but the European champions will also be willing to offer another £50m in order to bring Eriksen to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo departed Real Madrid in the summer of 2018, Real Madrid has struggled to replace his void at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 34-year-old moved to Serie A champions Juventus in a €100m deal and left Real Madrid as the club’s all-time top goalscorer netting 450 goals across nine seasons. Madrid did not make a massive splash in the summer transfer window to replace the Portuguese ace, who helped Madrid to three consecutive Champions League titles, because they felt that they have other players in the squad who could fill in the boots. Welsh superstar Gareth Bale was one of the key players who was deemed to keep Madrid at the top level but his injuries and poor form have left the club struggling.

There is no denying that Bale is still one of the most lethal forwards in world football but his injuries have hampered his career and stalled his progress. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has now lost patience with the 29-year-old as he is unable to get Madrid past the line in crucial games. The La Liga giants endured a week to forget as they were dumped out of the Copa Del Rey by fierce rivals Barcelona and even lost the El Classico to the same opponents at the Santiago Bernabeu as the Spanish League title looks to be slipping further away.

Bale though still has 13 goals this season but it seems that this could be his last season at the Spanish capital as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and even former club Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on signing the dynamic winger. Bale left Spurs back in 2013 for a fee of €100m but now looks set to return to North London as Real Madrid are preparing a stunning deal for the English outfit.

Reports claim that Real Madrid is using Gareth Bale as bait in order to sign Spurs talismanic midfielder Christian Eriksen in the summer. Spurs have once again stumbled towards the latter part of the season and without any real chance of winning silverware, Eriksen will look to leave the club in order to add gloss to his resume.

The Danish midfielder has already racked up seven goals this season and also notched 10 assists across all competitions this term. And Real Madrid has made it no secret that they are eager to secure the services of the Tottenham playmaker. Eriksen is also a set-piece specialist and his delivery is usually on point. The 27-year-old Eriksen also has the ability to pick out a cute pass in the final third and his vision is something that the prolific Bale lacks.
