Will This Chelsea Star Be A First Team Player Under Frank Lampard?

If you are talking about the English Premier League, you got to be enthusiastic about the London dairies. The British League is one of the most viewed and followed football leagues in the world and the London clubs are the heart of the theme. Whether the London is blue or white that is debatable, but for now the Blues are making more hustles and bustles in the pre season media. The former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has already left the club. The legend of Chelsea football club Frank Lampard has joined his old veteran club and Chelsea fans have been delighted since then.

Though Chelsea didn’t have a high profile transfer window apart from gaining Pulisic, the Blues seem energetic in the pre-season games. According to the recent news, the youngster Mason Mount has become the latest Chelsea footballer to step into his long-term future to the club. He has signed a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder follows the midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in signing a deal through to the summer of 2024. According to his new terms, it is around £75,000 a week, what he is gonna be paid.   Mount has not yet represent the Chelsea first-team in a competitive game, though he has already enjoyed time on loan at Vitesse Arnhem. He spent last season under Frank Lampard and showed some impressive football at Derby County in the Championship. He scored 11 goals in 44 appearances.

The 20-year-old’s form in the second tier gave him the opportunity into Gareth Southgate’s full England squad last autumn. He has yet to be capped at that level but has represented the under-21 squad and he scored for Lampard’s Chelsea side in Saturday’s 4-0 win over St Patrick’s Athletic in Dublin.

Mount has travelled to Japan after that with the senior squad for the upcoming friendlies against Kawasaki Frontale and Barcelona. It has been expected that he may remain at the club as part of the first-team set-up, rather than being loaned out again, in the campaign ahead.

According to the player himself, it was massively proud moment for him and his family. The youngster, who joined Chelsea’s academy at the age of six, had also said that he joined that club at six years old and it was always his goal to play for the first team one day. He also added that he is really looking forward to the coming season now and working hard to have an impact there at Chelsea. He has been at the club for a long time already and hopefully he will stay for a long time to come.

The new manager is also likely to retain the Scotland under-21 midfielder Billy Gilmour around his senior squad in the domestic campaign. Chelsea are hopeful of following up Mount’s deal by agreeing a new contract with Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is still a target for Bayern Munich. The Premier League club will be in the house with some real academic strength. Let’s just wait and keep track on them who have the talent to be the future stars.
