The Picture That’s Trending
It seems that N’Golo Kante can not just block attacks and break-down runs, but can fight wars too. In a recent picture that went viral of social media, the France international was spotted all dressed up to fight a battle, against his arch enemies. This wasn’t just another regular day in the field and it caught the attention of one on all on social media, who saw the funny side of things. Reports say that some even used Marketing Heaven to reach a bigger audience.
In a picture that is said to be from an 1874 war depiction, an individual who looks just like the former Leicester City and current Chelsea man, can be seen sitting next to a general.
He has his rifle in his had and he went to on to buy 300 blackout ammo online, wearing the traditional hat, the attire of the warrior back then. Due to this, the picture went viral and people couldn’t help but have a laugh. Sooner, the Blues’ faithful and other fans across the globe started calling Kante “immortal”.
This added more humour to this untold tale, as people began to search for this picture that had gone viral. Whatever be the case, the 28-year-old superstar is really humble and this would just add to his ever-growing popularity.
He was one of the key figures in the World Cup win for France as well in 2018 and is now his battling injury woes, as his team plays the Euro qualifiers. Kante and co. will be focused on winning the upcoming tournament in 2020 and add to their legacy, under Didier Deschamps reign as Le Boss.
What Next For Chelsea?
The Blues face off against Wolves on Saturday and will want to win this crucial tie. The west London outfit, led from Frank Lampard will be away from home and this game will not be easy by any stretch on imagination. The Europa League holders will be pushed to their limits and will have to fight hard to take back anything from the Molineux Stadium.
Nuno Espírito Santo will be out to prove a point to his home fans, who will be expecting nothing less than a win. On the other hand, Lampard has had a mixed set of results, since the start of the season. He will be keen to get going and will want all three points as well.
While Kante is expected to return to the squad, there is still no guarantee whether he will be starting the match or not. Callum Hudson-Odoi could also be back, with the attacking slowly regaining full fitness.
It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea can now actually lift their fans or not. They have been rather poor, at the start of the season and have been backed strongly till now. There have been some positives and some major negatives.
The transfer ban hasn’t helped their cause so far, either. They have been fighting hard, but the results haven’t just been perfect yet. Keeping that in mind, how long the support from their loyal fans now lasts for the new coach and his players, remains to be seen.
