Manchester United Let This Top Star Leave, Who Has Better Stats Than Arsenal’s Thierry Henry?

Belgium stormed past San Marino by a margin 9-0 to qualify for the European Championship in 2020. It was a goal-fest at Brussels when Belgium met San Marino on Thursday. It was very much astonishing how San Marino kept clean sheet till the 28th minute of the game.

The head coach of Belgium, Roberto Martinez fielded his side with a formation of 3-4-3. The first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was under the bars for the Belgian Red Devils. In the defence there were the presence of three-star defenders named Toby Alderweireld, Thomas Vermaelen and Jan Vertonghen. Timothy Castagane and Nacer Chadli were the two wingbacks. Hans Vanaken and Youri Tielemans started in the midfield while the trio comprising of Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens and Romelu Lukaku were there at the upfront of the field.

The head coach of San Marino made two changes just at the beginning of the second half of the match. Dries Mertens was booked at the beginning of the second half of the match. Yari Verschaeren replaced him at the 63rd minute of the match. Yannick Carassco was also included in place of Eden Hazard. On the other hand, Christian Benteke came in place of Romelu Lukaku at the 76th minute of the match.

Christian Benteke scored his first goal at the 79th minute of the match. Yannick Carassco provided the pass towards Christian Benteke at the time of the seventh goal. Yari Verschaeren scored the eighth goal for the Belgian Red Devils at the 84th minute of the match. He converted successfully from the spot at the 84th minute of the match. Timothy Castagane scored the ninth goal of the match at the 90th minute of the match.

Belgium won the match by a margin of 9-0 at Brussels and qualified for the European Championship in 2020. Romelu Lukaku’s form will certainly give Roberto Martinez much confidence before the Championship.

So apparently, Romelu Lukaku has better stats than Arsenal legend Thierry Henry internationally. This comparison is doing rounds now on social media. However, the Belgian failed to make any sort of major impact at Manchester United. Will that come back to haunt him or is this current form, already haunting the Red Devils’ fans? Let’s hope not.
