Chelsea Fans Will Soon Tire Of Comparing Christian Pulisic With Eden Hazard – Pat Nevin

Pulisic

The Christian Pulisic Story- Chelsea fans have been thrilled with their American youngster’s performances this year which has raised comparison with the Blue’s legendary attacker. Since the departure of Eden Hazard, Blues have struggled to have that killer instinct and that special thing in their attack. Since the restart of the season, Pulisic’s individual attributes have been exceptional. Chelsea legend Pat Nevin believes it is only about some times when Chelsea fans will stop comparing Pulisic with Hazard because the American has got enough firepower to make a very good career at Stamford Bridge for the next decade.

The Christian Pulisic- Eden Hazard Comparisons

Nevin told Chelsea’s official website: “There were moments when Christian Pulisic looked like he might run away with the Player of the Year trophy. At times he was looking like our most potent scorer as well as creator.”

“Chelsea fans will soon tire of comparing him with Eden Hazard, which is unfair on him, but they also know that for raw talent, match the intelligence and searing pace as well as an eye for goal, at 21 years old he could be one of the most important players for this club over the next five to 10 years.”

The Story About Chelsea’s Young Talents And What The Future May Hold For Them

Former Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic won the Chelsea Player Of The Year award this season. This was after some brilliant showing in the centre of the park for Lampard. However, it was a close contest, as Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic also were the contenders to win it. Nevin believes it will not be long for Pulisic to win that award if he keeps up his promises which he had already shown this season.

“Mason Mount looked like another who could skip off with the award early on. Maybe still will. One thing is very likely. If he does not win it this season, it will not be long before he does. He is such a top player. He is so versatile and so loved by the Chelsea fans as well.”

“Reece James joins him on the list of future winners. I further reckon even if this season might be a tad early for our rampaging right-back. It could surely be the one for him too”

What Christian Pulisic Had Stated?

Pulisic admitted it was a tough start for him at Chelsea. Despite that, once he scored that hat-trick in the Premier League, things went better for him. He further went on to add that he was in west London to do big things. Despite that, the player showed that he knows it will take him time too.

Things are not as simple as they seem from a distance. That is what the 22-year-old American went on to add. He has been drawing a lot of comments. The competition now in the Chelsea team will really increase, due to all these summer signings. It will be interesting to see which players are able to perform or not in the days to come. Only time will tell!!
