Frank Lampard Makes A Huge Statement About This Chelsea Star

Lampard Chelsea

The Frank Lampard Comment- Chelsea’s boss has drawn a comparison between Chelsea legend Eden Hazard and Christian Pulisic. The 20-year-old American has been outstanding since the season restarted. Pulisic has contributed 20 goals for Chelsea this season despite being injured most of the campaign. His 10 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season have raised discussions over his incredible skills are similar to the iconic Belgian.

After the departure of Hazard last season, there were big expectations on the shoulders of Christian to help fill that gap which is not possible for him in his first season in England. After coming off the bench at Anfield, he provided an incredible assist to Tammy Abraham before scoring to keep his team in the tie.

What Frank Lampard Said Post The FA Cup Semi-Final Against Manchester United?

“Since mid-season, he has had a really good patch, since the restart he has been in incredible form. Only the injury he picked up in the Norwich game has kept him out of the semi-final when he is flying.

Chelsea fans disagree with Frank Lampard's Christian Pulisic ...

“Today he comes on and has 40 minutes, which is great for the injury to feel confident with it and shows the quality that he has been showing. He’s so young, he has got such natural talent. He scores goals, he creates goals and he is a big player for us. Delighted to see him come through the fit. Clearly, he will be a big player for us in these next few games but going forward as well.”

Hazard in 2012-13 season, had 32 goal contributions in all competitions for Chelsea in 62 appearances, which shown the Belgian’s class and what a big player he can be. Frank Lampard, who was Hazard’s teammate at that time says Pulisic is showing something similar to that class and is already an important player for the Blues.

What The Former England International Went On To Add?

“He is hugely important. He has had that impact. I was here for Eden’s first year and it is not easy to come into the Premier League, even for Eden in that first year, and adapt to the Premier League. Christian has had his moments of that.”

Chelsea went 3-0 down at Anfield before somehow coming back into the game with three goals later on, but that was not good enough to have a poor defence against the best attack in the world.

Christian Pulisic: Chelsea ace reveals key Frank Lampard asset ...

“I would not talk about individuals in a game where we have conceded those goals. Some were real quality Liverpool finishes, particularly the free-kick scored by Trent. There were some collective and individual errors for Liverpool. Despite that, we did contribute towards a really good game. At 4-3 it felt like we would get back into the game. I felt it throughout. At 3-0 it was difficult. However, even at 3-1, there was a chance”

The Key Pointers To Take Back From This Statement By The Chelsea Boss

Chelsea faced rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup Final at Wembley, which they lost. This was before facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16-second leg where they are trailing by three goals. The result was the same in either case.

“We know where we are at. We further know if we make mistakes like that against a team of the quality of Liverpool, this is what can happen. There were a lot of good things in the game. Due to those, I certainly do not want to get into an individual conversation about players.”

“We have now got two big domestic games to play this week. It is important we go in together as players, fans, everybody, to finish the season how we want.”
