The Story Of The Arsenal Loss- It is indeed a bad day for Arsenal. Nightmares of 2013 haunting the fans on their travels. The first game of the season ended in a 2-0 loss for the team on the opening day of the new campaign. Not what the fans would have expected from their team. A newly promoted side Brentford beating them in the opening day fixture away from home.
It was a 2-0 loss in a game that was dominated by the home side. There were quite a few substantial players missing from the squad. Thomas Partey is out injured. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are unwell. Eddie Nketiah is injured and more.
However, a loss to Brentford is a big one and it broke many records. The fans were really unhappy about the result. They started calling for Mikel Arteta’s head.
What Was The Message Sent Out On Twitter By The President Of The Republic Of Rwanda?
It was confirmed on Twitter that the President of Rwanda, PAUL KAGAME, is an Arsenal fan. He too was displeased with the way that the team was playing. Keeping that in mind, he sent out a Tweet expressing his displeasure.
There is no Arsenal fan who is happy with the way that things are run at present. They are all expressing their displeasure on Social Media platforms. With that being said, the post attracted a lot of attention from the fans.
Below is the Tweet that was sent out by Kagame-
What?? It’s football,it’s a loss of Arsenal at/to Brentford. Brentford deserved to win and they did. The game itself aside Arsenal and the fans don’t deserve to kind of get used to this….NO !!! I say this as one of the big fans of Arsenal. The change has taken to long to come!

What Next For The Gunners Now With The Chelsea Game Coming Up?
It is not going to be easy for Arsenal at the start of this new campaign. They got some big games coming up with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City being their next opponents. The north London side will want to recover from the defeat that they suffered on day 1 of the new season.
The next few fixtures are not in their favour and if they end up losing those games as well, things will not look good for the team and Mikel Arteta. Already the fans have started turning on the Arsenal main-man. A lot of members from the fanbase want him gone and that tells a story in itself.
The patience level of the fans has totally dropped and they are not ready to give him more time. The Arsenal loss has really hurt the ambitions of the club going into the new campaign as well. Mikel Arteta will now have to produce some shocking results to retain his job, which seems tough to do at this point in time. Let’s wait and watch what happens next, as we head into the game against the club’s west London rivals!!
