Arsenal Again Interested In Signing Yet Another Premier League Star

Michael Arteta is looking to add more alternatives to his squad, and Arsenal is willing to re-enter the market for Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Tariq Lamptey as a result.

Gunners are reportedly planning another assault on Brighton & Hove Albion next summer, this time in pursuit of midfielder Tariq Lamptey, according to a new report from Fichajes.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of three players who may be regarded as a possible target for Arsenal, who are looking to improve their options at right-back in the coming months.

It seems that head coach Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a more attack-minded full-back to compete with the new acquisition Takehiro Tomiyasu in order to strengthen his squad.

As a consequence, the Gunners have targeted Lamptey as a target of opportunity. They had previously done business with Brighton earlier in the summer. This was when they signed Ben White from them for an undisclosed amount.
