Joao Felix, a forward for Atletico Madrid, is a target for Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Felix has had a rough start to the season for Atletico. He hasn’t scored in any of his five league starts so far.
Felix didn’t do much better last season. He only made 24 league starts. Diego Simeone often uses Felix as a sub because Antoine Griezmann and other players are also good at the top.
Fichajes says that the striker could move to the Premier League, where Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all interested in signing him
Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal is showing interest in Joao Felix
Both Manchester United and Chelsea will need to find a long-term replacement for their current top strikers. Cristiano Ronaldo and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both nearing the end of their careers with their clubs, so it would be smart for Felix to bring in a player around the same age.
Felix’s development might not improve as much if he moves to Arsenal, where Gabriel Jesus is doing very well even though he is only 25 years old.
Felix is no longer needed because Diego Simeone, the manager of the Colchoneros, doesn’t see him as a part of the project. Their tense relationship is bringing down the morale of the team. The young player didn’t even play in the 0-0 draw with Club Brugge in the Champions League.
Atletico will look for possible buyers for the forward. The fact that Antoine Griezmann has signed a permanent deal has made his situation even more complicated. The big Spanish teams don’t expect to make any money if they can get rid of the player. But they would be happy to get back half of what they paid Benfica for his services.
This season, Liverpool’s forwards haven’t been as good as Jurgen Klopp would have liked. Luis Diaz’s long-term injury has forced Klopp to look for other options. Even though Felix isn’t playing well, he can do well in the right environment. A move to Anfield could help him turn around his football career.
Barcelona also wants Joao Felix
Barcelona is also thought to be keeping an eye on him and might try to persuade him to make this short trip to the Nou Camp. Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski joined the Catalans this summer. But Griezmann’s departure left a hole that could be filled by Felix, who has played in La Liga for the last two years.
Manchester United tried to buy the player in the summer. But Atletico’s price was too high for them to pay. Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is uncertain. If the Portuguese player decides to retire, the Red Devils will have to look far and wide to find his replacement.
Both Atletico and Felix want to break up early.
A decision could be made in January. A loan with an obligation to buy could also be an option for those who want to help the player make a smooth transition to the new team.
