The Evening Standard says that Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has made England and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham his top transfer target as part of a major squad rebuild.

The 19-year-old England player is probably one of Europe’s hottest items on the transfer market right now. If he does well in the upcoming winter World Cup, his value will go up even more. Most likely next summer, the top clubs will have a huge bidding war to sign the midfielder.

It looks like the Blues are hoping to get the 19-year-services old’s by beating out Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

Jude Bellingham To Move To Chelsea?

Bellingham moved to Germany in the summer of 2020. In a short amount of time, he has grown and changed a lot. Even though he is young, the teenager is the captain of one of the best teams in Europe and regularly puts on great shows in the UEFA Champions League.

In fact, the 19-year-old has become an important part of his team’s midfield in recent years. He has played in over 100 games for BVB and helped score 36 goals along the way. This season, the young star from Birmingham City has scored four goals in four Champions League games. He has also scored two goals in two DFB Pokal games.

Almost every big team in the Premier League and Real Madrid are likely to try to sign him next summer. But BVB is holding out for a huge amount of money, over £120 million, for their prized player. Liverpool, for example, has been a longtime favorite to sign the ex-Championship star. Jurgen Klopp wants to add younger players to his team’s aging midfield.

Manchester City, on the other hand, might have the best midfield in all of football. But since Illkay Gundogan’s contract at the Etihad expires at the end of the season and Barcelona is still interested in Bernardo Silva, Pep Guardiola could do well to bring in a new central midfielder. Bellingham is one of their top choices.
