The likelihood of Arsenal acquiring Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich is low. The Gunners will need to submit a “crazy deal” to pry Sane away from the Bavarians
According to Fabrizio Romano of Caught Offside, Bayern Munich would only let Leroy Sane go if a “crazy offer” came through for the German international. If Arsenal really wants to win the Premier League, they’ll have to wait until the summer transfer window to make a play on the league’s MVP.
Sane has not been forthcoming about his desire in leaving Bayern for a new challenge. But Arsenal’s pursuit of him has not abated. It was important to Arteta to reconnect with a player he worked with as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City.
Arsenal benefited from a shift in Arteta’s priorities due to the emergence of Gabriel Martinelli as a wide attacker. The Gunners have an amazing opportunity to begin and progress through their formative period.
During the next January transfer window, they want to swoop in for Mykhaylo Mudryk. The transfer committee has several worries about the pricing of the Ukrainian international. Although it is clear that Arsenal is interested in the Shakhtar Donetsk attacker, media reports have repeatedly connected Sane to a transfer to the Emirates.
Will Leroy Sane come to Arsenal?
Sane has done well since joining Bayern Munich, as seen by his 10 goals and five assists in all competitions so far this season. With those kinds of numbers, he’s an integral part of Julian Nagelsmann’s squad. Bayern will be hard-pressed to convince him to go.
Fabrizio Romano, has denied that Arsenal or any other club has made a bid. “Only a crazy offer from the Gunners can convince Bayern to trade the winger. There has been some conjecture, but as of now, there are no conversations between Bayern and Arsenal for Sane,” Romano stated. Bayern will not sell Sane in January unless an insane offer comes through, in my opinion.
What’s next?
Even though Sane is a fantastic addition, he is tied down until 2025. The powerhouses of the Bundesliga are probably not worried and would not allow the Premier League champion to depart in the new year. Any number of teams, including Arsenal, might make a new offer during the summer transfer window. Sane is now unavailable for purchase.
