“There You Go, It’s Done??”, £228,800-PER-YEAR Englishman Se To Sign For Arsenal In The January Transfer Window

Arsenal Newsnow

Arsenal Newsnow: A new contract with Arsenal midfield sensation Charlie Patino has not yet been discussed, the report claims. Since joining the North London giants’ junior system in 2015, the 18-year-old Englishman has risen to become one of the academy’s top prospects. He previously played for Luton Town.

Patino received praise for his play in the U-18 and U-21 levels before earning promotion to the first team in 2021-22. He played under Mikel Arteta. The Englishman scored in his first game for the club in the EFL Cup against Sunderland. He then made his first senior start in the 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest.

To complete his loan transfer to Blackpool, where he has quickly become a first-team regular, Patino was not part of the Gunners’ preseason lineup for their tour of the United States.

The youngster has started each of their past four second-tier appearances after recovering from an ankle ailment. He has one goal to his name from nine games for the Championship club.

Patino’s current contract with Arsenal only runs until the summer of 2023, although the Gunners have the option to activate a two-year extension in place of contract negotiations. The Athletic reports, however, that Arsenal has not initiated contract renewal talks with Patino. The club must trigger the two-year provision by a certain date in the coming months.

If they don’t agree on a new deal before the deadline, Patino may depart Arsenal for free at the conclusion of the season. The story goes on to say that Patino is still content with his situation at Arsenal, despite the fact that other teams in England and overseas have taken note of his rising star and may want to sign him as a free agent.

The odds of Arsenal acquiring Mykhaylo Mudryk, a great player for Shakhtar Donetsk, have increased dramatically. The 22-year-old continues to hint at his future on social media. Thus suggesting he would want to go to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are looking to sign many players

With Shakhtar officials visiting Stamford Bridge to meet with Todd Boehly earlier this week, Chelsea made an aggressive play to steal Mudryk away from Arsenal. Given Antony’s £86 million sale to Manchester United and Jack Grealish’s £100 million transfer to Manchester City, the Ukrainian club has requested a sum in the area of £85 million for its star forward.

Football.london has learned that Arsenal is looking to acquire Mudryk, as well as a central midfielder and a left-sided center defender, during the January transfer window.

After learning that Gabriel Jesus would be out until February due to injury, Arsenal has been trying to negotiate with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of star forward Joao Felix, a 22-year-old.
