Arsenal Newsnow: This summer window, Arsenal is considering a move for AS Roma forward Tammy Abraham
Arsenal Newsnow: The vocegiallorossa website claims that Arsenal is eyeing a January transfer for AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham. As a result of their successful campaign so far, the Gunners are looking for more members to join their ranks.
Despite rumours to the contrary, the North Londoners have no intentions to acquire either Joao Felix or Mykhaylo Mudryk. In the case of Felix, Atletico Madrid’s astronomical demands have discouraged any potential deals. On the other hand, Mudryk’s price tag might exceed £100 million.
Abraham is a viable choice for Arteta to add to his existing attacking unit as he looks to improve his team’s scoring output. Even though Eddie Nketiah has stepped up in recent games and contributed significantly, the team will need more than just the kid to keep winning for the rest of the season.

In the summer of 2021, the English international relocated to Italy. His goal-scoring prowess quickly made him a fan favorite. Last year he scored 27 times, but so far this year nothing has gone his way.
Will Tammy Abraham sign for Arsenal?
He has not been able to consistently find the back of the goal. Arsenal is prepared to bring him back to London. The 25-year-old is an effective aerial threat and a reliable teammate.
Though Roma paid a hefty €40 million for his services, Chelsea has a buy-back clause that will become active next summer. Next summer, the Blues will have the option to recall their player for €80 million price. But considering their present plight, they are unlikely to spend so much money on one of their former prospects. Davis Moyes, manager of West Ham United, has dismissed rumours that Declan Rice might leave the club during the next transfer window.
Declan Rice wanted by the Gunners
Mikel Arteta is said to be interested in signing England international Rice to play for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. If transfer expert Ben Jacobs is to be believed [via Si & Dan Talk Chelsea], the Gunners are planning a summer move for the brilliant midfielder. The Hammers are perhaps being forced to trade their top player in the summer after a trying 2022/23 season.
While there has been talk of a move, Moyes has said that the 23-year-old will not be going during the current winter transfer window. When asked by the media (via Goal) about Rice, the former Manchester United manager stated: “The transfer bit, I’m sure you can put that away because that won’t be happening in January, that’s for sure, and it never was.”
Chelsea has been linked with Rice in the past. But the Blues are currently in tenth place in the Premier League. Rice has made no secret of his desire to play in the Champions League, so maybe the Blues’ rivals in north London, Arsenal, can convince him that a move to the Gunners this summer is the best option.
