Arsenal Newsnow: Amidst many rumors that are currently being spread in the transfer market, ESPN journalist Jorge Baravalle has confirmed that Ukrainian football prodigy Mykhaylo Mudryk is on the verge of becoming an Arsenal player. “Mudryk will be an Arsenal player. Arteta is left with one of the jewels of European football”: the Spanish reporter tweeted today.
Earlier, the Ukrainian site Sport Arena had also reported that ongoing talks between Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk have already reached a breakthrough point. It is just a matter of days before the young winger is officially an Arsenal player.
The Gunners have been after Mudryk for a long time now. He is an exceptionally talented player from the nation of Ukraine. Mudryk is technically gifted and might also be considered a better showboater than Manchester United’s infamous Antonio. He is too skillful and the Premier League side will be lucky to have him on board.
The player has agreed to personal terms with the club a long time ago. He totally wants to join the club. It is Shakhtar Donetsk that is withholding the transfer. They were not satisfied enough with the first two bids of Arsenal. The Ukrainian club want something around the range of £88 Million. However, it is now being said that the two clubs have almost reached agreement as we mentioned earlier.

Arsenal Newsnow: ESPN reporter Jorge Baravalle has tweeted his approval of the purchase of Mykhaylo Mudryk, saying that the Ukrainian “will be an Arsenal player.”
Many analysts are saying that Mykhaylo Mudryk will perfectly fit the current Arsenal side. Although Mikel Arteta preferred a 4-2-3-1 formation before, he has transitioned to a 4-3-3 formation this season and Mudryk thrives as a left winger in this system.

The winger will pair up on the left flank with his national teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko. This transfer of Mudryk will be adding a lot of squad depth to the Gunners.
They are currently suffering from a number of injuries. Gabriel Jesus, for example, is out injured. It is during these moments that the Gunner will benefit if they have more options.
The Ukrainian will not be without competition for the spot though. Gabriel Martinelli has done brilliantly on the left flank so far this season. Arteta will either have to think of a way to put them both in the team or the two youngsters will have to be rotated.
For the ones who are not aware, Arsenal were also after Joao Felix in this window. However, the Portuguese youngster has now been signed by their arch rivals Chelsea. This makes it even important that Stan Kroenke and Co. make the Mudryk transfer happen.
