UK Express claims that 21-year-old Ukrainian forward Mykhaylo Mudryk has agreed to a five-year contract with Arsenal, giving the club a huge transfer boost.
In their first offer, the Gunners placed £55 million on the table for Mudryk, but Shakhtar rejected it. Thus seeking a higher fee for their promising youngster. Despite the lack of information on the financial terms of the probable offer that Shakhtar have agreed upon, it seems that Mikel Arteta has made progress in signing the Ukrainian star.
Arsenal come up with a new offer for Mykhaylo Mudryk
Given that Mudryk is a young player with a lot of potential, this is great news for the Gunners. He has already shown his worth to Shakhtar Donetsk by scoring 10 goals and assisting on eight more in only 18 games so far this season. He made his professional debut in 2022. Mudryk has since made eight appearances for the Ukrainian national team.
Given his reputation for speed and technical skill, Mudryk could prove to be an excellent addition to Arsenal’s assault. He’s versatile enough to play either flank or up top, providing coach Mikel Arteta with choices.
Arsenal’s Premier League campaign has been buoyed by the addition of Mudryk. His acquisition is sure to please the team’s devoted fan base. As of right now, the team is atop the Premier League standings. They’ll be counting on Mudryk to provide them with the offensive depth they need to win the title in 2022–23.

The Daily Mail reports that Arsenal has exercised a provision in Bukayo Saka’s contract that would extend his stay with the club for another year as they negotiate a new, longer-term contract.
Bukayo Saka staying at the Emirates
The 21-year-old has been a pivotal member of the Gunners this season. He has played a role in 13 goals in 22 games.
Several big teams are allegedly interested in signing Saka after seeing his great performances. The North London club, though, seems to be dead set on keeping him. They are making moves to ensure his long-term future with the club.
With Bukayo Saka, Arsenal has exercised its option to extend his contract for an additional year, till 2024.
While a new, lengthier contract for the 21-year-old English winger is still a target, Arsenal activated the extra year of Saka’s 2020 deal before the deadline last month.
In a similar vein, Arsenal has exercised options to extend the contracts of William Saliba and teenage midfielder Charlie Patino, both to the year 2024 and the next year, respectively. An upgraded bid for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk will be submitted by the Premier League’s top team.
