“He Has Had The Most Impact For Arsenal”, Takehiro Tomiyasu Names The £120,000-PER-WEEK Player As The Most Important Player For Arsenal

Arsenal

Be it front-line attack, mid-field, defensive mid-field and defence, Arsenal have been clinical in all these aspects. Their current position in the ongoing season of the Premier League serves as a testament to this fact. Moreover, they were able to hold their nerves in pressure situations. On top of that, they didn’t let the pressure get the better of them.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has turned things around by instilling an aura into the players. It seems that the players are now feeling confident and hungry to win games. It is worth mentioning that this is Arsenal’s best-ever start to the Premier League season in their history after 19 games.

The Gunners have collected 50 points by winning 16 games and drawing twice. Their only loss came against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Apart from that, they have always looked calm and composed in the rest of the games. They are unbeaten at home so far this season. It remains to be seen how they go about their business in the next half of the season.

Arsenal were recently eliminated from the FA Cup by Manchester City at Etihad Stadium recently. Manchester City got the better of Arsenal by 1-0, although Arsenal were much better throughout the game. Arsenal will cross swords with the Everton Football Club on February 4 (Saturday) at Goodison Park.

Takehiro Tomiyasu impressed by Ben White’s impact for Arsenal this season

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomoyasu has reserved the highest respect for Ben White’s impact at Arsenal in the ongoing season. Ben White has been a regular feature for Arsenal this season. The England international has performed ever so well by keeping the opposition attackers in check, more often than not.

The 25-year-old carved out a reputation for himself as the club’s top-tier right-back. Takehiro Tomiyasu also played pretty well as a right-back for the club in the previous season. However, with Ben White coming through with flying colours, Takehiro Tomiyasu has been coming only as a substitute.

Mikel Arteta’s decision to deploy Ben White as a fullback worked wonders for the club. William Saliba has been patrolling the vacant centre-back area. On the other hand, Gabriel Magalhaes retained his spot as well. Former Manchester City left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has done ever so well since joining the Gunners.

It is fair to say that Arsenal have bolstered their defence with key signings and fixed the leaks where it mattered the most. Today, Arsenal’s defence has been one of the best in the English Premier League.

While speaking to Goal, the Japanese international said that he gives everything whenever he is on the pitch. “You have to accept the reality. Ben White has been doing very well. He is fantastic. Of course, I want to play from the start. The only thing I can do is prove my value on the pitch and show what I can do. I just want to help the team. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing from the start or not. When I’m on the pitch I give everything,” he added.
