Roy Keane on Declan Rice:
🗣️ “I don't think he's been great this season. There's a lot of good PR coming out from West Ham about his price. He doesn’t score enough and he doesn’t assist enough. I know, I played that position. He needs to do a lot more." pic.twitter.com/HB7U4OwbVS

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal informed not to pay too much for player Mikel Arteta is interested in
The potential value of the West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is estimated at £100 million or £120 million. Meanwhile, a former England footballer by the name of Dean Ashton thinks otherwise. According to him, the West Ham captain is not worth that much amount. While speaking to TalkSport, the former West Ham footballer reckons that Declan Rice still has a mountain to climb in order to reach the levels of that kind of transfer fees.
For the record, Declan Rice was earlier linked with a move to the Gunners in the January transfer market. Ashton passed the comments following the Hammers’ defeat to Manchester United in the FA cup clash at Old Trafford recently. The Red Devils came through with flying colours as they defeated the Hammers by 3-1 in the fifth round.
Ashton further echoed that the West Ham captain Declan Rice is not worth £100 million in the first place. It literally means that according to him, the Gunners would be paying too much for the 24-year-old West Ham captain and England midfielder if they made up their mind to spend that much amount on him.
“The numbers being thrown around, about £100m, £120 million, I am sorry, he is a long, long, long way away from that,” the former West Ham striker added in a statement. Meanwhile, former Gunners midfielder Emmanuel Petit said, “I think that Declan Rice is struggling at West Ham, and does not have a good environment to adapt and improve. I’m also still a big fan of Mac Allister and Caicedo from Brighton since I first saw them play.” said Petit.
