"He Has Always Been Tracked By Arsenal" - Fabrizo Romano Reveals That Arsenal Is Surely After The €39m Signing In 2023

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal Football Club (AFC) do have all their bases covered enough to compete for the silverware. Currently, Arsenal have one of the best attacks in the league. However, they would want to keep adding fresh legs to their squad in order to strengthen their attack. It remains to be seen how they approach the upcoming summer transfer window.

Earlier, there were reports stating that the Gunners are looking to offload three players from their squad. If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, Arsenal are planning to put three players up for sale. The three players are none other than Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

The Gunners have reportedly placed the aforementioned players on the transfer list. Apparently, the club is willing to listen to offers in the upcoming summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Arsenal management will be hoping to recoup somewhere around £70 million from the trio. These funds will help Mikel Arteta to fortify his squad this summer.

Kieran Tierney has been playing second fiddle to Oleksandr Zinchenko. Ever since joining the club, the Ukrainian international played more Premier League minutes than the former Celtic left-back. This triggered speculation that Tierney would want to part ways with the club such that he gets enough game time somewhere else.

On the other side of the coin, the likes of Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have also fallen out of the team’s plans. As things stand, the two players are currently on loan at Marseille and Crystal Palace respectively. It remains to be seen what the future holds in store for Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Meanwhile, in the development, Arsenal have been tracking Borussia Dortmund player. According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal Football Club have always kept a tab on Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt. The Premier League giants are likely to bolster their attack during the summer transfer window.

Recently, it was learnt that the Gunners are interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund playmaker. Meanwhile, in his CaughtOffside column, the respected journalist confirmed that the German has always been tracked by the Gunners. However, at the same time, he conceded that he is unaware of any new contacts for him.

“Julian Brandt has always been tracked by Arsenal. I’m not aware of fresh contacts at this stage, nothing new; also because Borussia Dortmund have still not decided on Brandt’s future. New attacking signings will depend on many factors, nothing is decided on the summer plan yet,” the renowned journalist added in a statement in his column.

Julian Brandt has been one of the key players for the Bundesliga side. The 26-year-old is talented and creative as a playmaker and has helped the team lead the attack by example. More importantly, he has made a huge difference for Borussia Dortmund in the final third. Moreover, he has played across the attack behind the striker, netting nine goals and providing as many as five assists.
