Liverpool NewsNow And Arsenal Updates!! Mikel Arteta is the talk of the town this term. He has been brilliant as a manager and the fans are loving it. The rival fans and haters that doubted him initially, have also turned now. Everyone is on the Arsenal bandwagon, apart from a few sections of the fanbase and surely rival fans, who don’t want the Gunners to win the League.
Keeping that in mind, there are multiple news outlets that want to get a hold of the Spaniard. Fortunately or unfortunately, Sky Sports holds the key. And they recently had him onboard for an interview. Luckily, the host was Jamie Carragher. Someone who has been unbiased right from the start. (Unlike Gary who!?)
So there Mikel Arteta was, talking about the club he supported as a boy, his good memories of the game, the meal he eats before a match and much more. It was a subtle conversation between two individuals who appreciate and respect each other. That’s what made the talk ‘special’!!
Liverpool NewsNow: Mikel Arteta Tells Jamie Carragher About The Various Coaches Of Different Sports That He Gets In Touch With To Learn New Tricks; Names 3 Of Those
Carragher asked Arteta if he thinks that the game had evolved. More importantly, he goes in detail about his tactics and the dressing room stuff from the Amazon documentary. Further, he also asked him if the latter thought that Pep Guardiola was the instigator of change in the game. To this, Arteta agreed.
He further asked Arteta if he has learned something from other sports. Mikel talked about his talks and chats with coaches of other sports. He went on to add the names of a new that he could remember at the back of his head.
Jamie Carragher: “Just wondered if as a coach you look for inspiration from other sports and other coaches in different sports!?”
To this, Mikel Arteta replied, “I love that. And I am involved in groups where we discuss with other top elite managers. Whether in the NFL, in the NBA, whether in Australian Cricket, in big companies around the world. To understand, the process. How they made decisions, why they made decisions?”
“How the plan and how they face success or failure!? Or how they measure success or failure!? And there are voices for me that are really really important. We have to be constantly educating ourselves!! Looking for quick wins. And things that we can gather from many other industries as well. And we have a lot of opportunities these days, with everything we have in our hand. We can’t waste it!!”

What Next For The Gunners!?
Arsenal are on top of the League. They are currently at 69 points and lead Manchester City by eight, who have a game-in-hand. However, a game-in-hand counts for nothing, unless a team gets the job done. That is something Pep Guardiola and co. now quite well. They will want to be professional about it and get the three points.
If that is the case, then the gap reduces back to five points. And this one could surely be going down to the wire. Let’s wait and watch!!
