"These Are The Players Who Will Be Sold...' Mikel Arteta And Arsenal Has Placed 3 Players On The Transfer List In 2023

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal Football Club (AFC) have operated in a collective rhythm throughout the season and has reaped the rewards so far. Mikel Arteta has changed the entire complexion of the club by tweaking some changes in the areas when it mattered the most. The club was long been criticized for its inability to win a title.

However, things have literally changed now. The Gunners are showing ambition to make a bid for the fourth Premier League title. Having played 26 games so far this season, Arsenal have accumulated 63 points. This is one of the best seasons for Arsenal in their Premier League journey. They drew three times and lost only thrice.

It will be quite interesting to see how they go about their work in the rest of the twelve games. The upcoming games will be so crucial for them. They will have to be so clinical in their approach to come out on top. The Gunners recently locked horns with Bournemouth at The Emirates. The visitors stunned the hosts by taking a 2-0 lead in the game.

However, the Gunners made a stunning comeback at home by responding straight away with three goals. Nelson scored the winner for Arsenal as they secured three important points in the Premier League. They have a five-point gap ahead of the second-placed Manchester City who collected 58 points from 26 games.

Arsenal will travel all the way to Portugal to play against Sporting FC in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Europa League. The first leg between Arsenal and Sporting will kick off on March 9, Thursday at Estádio José Alvalade. On the other hand, the return leg will kick off on March 17, Friday at the Emirates. Before that, Arsenal will lock horns with Fulham in an away Premier League fixture on March 12, Sunday.

Arsenal Transfer News: Three players up for sale

"These Are The Players Who Will Be Sold...' Mikel Arteta And Arsenal Has Placed 3 Players On The Transfer List In 2023

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, the Gunners have put three footballers up for sale ahead of the summer transfer window. As per a Football Insider, the likes of Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga are among the players that could part ways with the club after falling out of the team’s scheme of things.

During the 2022 summer transfer window, Arsenal signed Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City. During the 2022–23 season, the former Manchester City player played most minutes as a left-back ahead of Kieran Tierney in the Premier League. This led to speculation that the former Celtic defender would look to leave the club.

On the other side of the coin, the likes of Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga are out of the team’s plans as well. After falling out of the radar, the two players are currently on loan at Marseille and Crystal Palace. It would be quite interesting to see what the future holds in store for the the Gunners trio.

“It was not easy to leave Arsenal because as you can see they are top of the league, but for me, the important thing was the confidence of the coach (Patrick Viera)”, Albert Sambi Lokonga said when asked about his switch to Crystal Palace on loan from Arsenal.
