Arsenal were in the hunt for Mykhailo Mudryk for quite some time. He was the primary target for Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar. The Arsenal fans wanted to see this young talent at the Emirates. However, Chelsea stepped up and hijacked the deal. This did not go down well with the fanbase.
There was sort of a breakdown when it happened. Despite that, Arteta and Edu got their backup choice, Trossard. The Belgian was superb at Brighton before making the switch. And since he has moved to London, he has been brilliant once he got a chance under Arteta.
