Gary Neville Explains Red Card With Funny Illustration; Jamie Carragher Isn’t Delighted

Gary Neville

Gary Neville has been one of the most disliked Pundits in recent times. A lot of football fans, mainly Arsenal fans, don’t really like him. He is really negative and always talks against things that most people find irritating or annoying. But at the end of the day, you do need both sides of the coin to make things tick. That’s just how it is!!

And sometimes, it is these type of Pundits that get the most clicks. Love or hate them, they are just getting promoted. Either by creating controversy or being polar opposite to the positive things happening at a club. Whichever way one chooses, they get enough attention and money for it. That’s for sure.

However, this time Gary Neville is not in the news for that reason. The reason for his name to trend was due to a funny segment. And this was for the Everton versus Spurs game. The match produced a couple of red cards. And every football fan on Social Media was talking about it.

Gary Neville Explains The Doucoure Red Card Along With Jamie Carragher; Segment Is Too Funny!!

It was during the Everton-Tottenham match that Abdoulaye Doucoure and eventually Lucas Moura were sent off in the match. The game ended with a 1-1 scoreline and the fans of both sides weren’t really happy. The visitors couldn’t hold on to their lead, while Everton fans were just releived to be honest.

A 90th minute goal with 10-men saw them steal a point at Goodison Park. However, they shouldn’t have been in such a tight situation. And eventually, there was nothing more they could do. Doucoure had been sent off. And the Toffees barely stayed in the game. A point was the best that they were getting out of it.

Well, though the red card in itself was ugly, the segment was damn funny!! And it left the fans having a laugh as well.

Below is the whole video of the red-card segment from Sky Sports!!

What Next For Tottenham And Everton!?

Tottenham would still like to believe that they are fighting for a Champions League spot. That is despite Newcastle and Manchester United having a game in hand and being 3 points above them. The win for the Magpies helped not just them. But Spurs as well.

On the other hand, Everton will be grateful if they can just avoid relegation this term. It has not been a good season for them. And they are tied on points at present, with 18th place Bournemouth. Not a sight that anyone wants to see.

Well, what happens from now until the end of the season, remains to be seen. However, the focus of both sides will be to focus on consistency and take one game at a time. That is if they want results to go in their favour. And secure a higher position in the points table, than what they are at now.

It is not impossible for both teams to get what they want. Despite that, the ask won’t be easy based on the kind of football that they have showcased so far this term. It will be an exciting end to the campaign for both teams for sure.
