When Napoli Fans Lost The Plot After Champions League Exit Vs AC Milan

Champions League Song

Serie A leaders Napoli were knocked out of the Champions League recently. It was a tough battle against domestic rivals AC Milan, a fight in which the Rossoneri came out on top. It was not a pretty tie. But, the intensity was there and the fans loved every minute of it. Not the Napoli fans though, as they ended up getting knocked out of the competition, though some had predicted them to be favourites to win it.

That’s the kind of season that the team from Naples is having. However, when a team loses such a close encounter against a fierce rival, it isn’t always taken positively. Not everyone can be sporty and respectful. Some fans tend to cross a line.

And that is exactly what happened with some of the Napoli fans. Obviously, they do not represent the whole fanbase. But at the end of the day, it is just SHAMEFUL to watch. Some fans can behave worse than animals at times. While some may call them childish, many others would have way worse names for them!!

Napoli Fans Lose The Plot After Their Team’s Champions League Exit; Disgusting!!

Racism is a serious problem in SPORT. Lose a game and many fans turn to such low-level teasing and commenting. They can’t take an L at times. And that’s how BAD things are at times. Not just in football, but every sport has this problem at times. And though the governing bodies have strict rules, avoiding such things should come from within.

But people just don’t. And it gives a bad name to every single fanbase. Going after players for being BETTER is just not the way. Sometimes, people just need to accept and admit that their rivals/opponents were the better side. However, how often do people accept such things!? Like, NEVER!?

Below is a video of the disgusting reaction of some Napoli fans after their team’s Champions League exit!!

Not a sight that any football fan, or rather, human-being would be happy to see. These are the things that give the sport a bad name. And need to be curtailed or stopped. But no one seems to really care or do anything about it (from the crowd of fans), which is sad to see in itself.

What Next For AC Milan In The UCL!?

Milan are now set to face off against Inter in the semi-final of the competition. While one Italian side is set to make it to the final, Real Madrid will face off against Manchester City in the other one. These will surely be cracking games and it will really be feisty for sure.

Milan derbies have always been the biggest fixtures in Italian football. And now to take it to the grand stage of European football, will be a different thing in itself. It’s been quite some time since the two met in the biggest Cup competition of the continent.

However, every fan will be excited to see this clash. Surely, they will have their favourites for different reasons. And, may the best team from Milan win this tie!!
